Yesterday was my birthday. I decided on a technology free day with friends and family to celebrate 49 years. It was a fantastic day with lots of laughs and too much food.

Beechworth is an old Gold Rush town from the 1850s in Victoria. Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever out that way. Food, wineries, bakery, lollie shop and the Billsons distillery.
Today marks the first day of my 50th year. I was saying that I don’t feel 50. How did life go so fast? I’ve been planning this year for a little while. I’ve decided on 50 things for 50 years. We are going to do 50 things that I’ve never done or experienced before. It’s exciting and going to be awesome. We’ll culminate in a party with a theme so different to anything I’ve ever done before.
Yesterday we did a wine tasting at a Strawberry winery. I did not know they made wine from strawberries. While it’s not one of the 50 it’s a great example of what I mean.
I hope you’ll join me on my socials. I’m also open to suggestions for things to do. Pop some ideas in the comments section below.
